We are expanding our services and expertise nationwide and internationally. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: Core Dialysis is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to perform acute dialysis procedures. As an Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering specialized nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis procedures in acute care settings. This role involves working across diverse healthcare settings, including acute care hospitals, long-term care hospitals, and rehabilitation hospitals. As a vital team member, with your expertise, the Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process to ensure each patient's needs are met with the highest standards of care while adhering to stringent processes and protocols during the safe and effective administration of acute dialysis therapy. This role offers flexibility, accommodating full-time or PRN positions based on the company's requirements. This role typically operates with scheduled shifts from Monday through Sunday. Occasional weekend assignments are needed for specific positions. This role typically operates with a call-out schedule to manage any unforeseen emergencies as needed for specific positions. While certification is not required for this position, we welcome and appreciate it. Certified (CDN and CNN) candidates bring added value to our team, and we recognize the effort and expertise that certification represents. While ACLS certification is not required, it is highly valued and makes you a significant asset to our nursing team. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Administer dialysis procedures to acute care patients, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines. Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort. Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and provide appropriate care and support. Accurately and efficiently prepares, administers, and documents all prescribed medications within your scope of practice. Ensures all medication processes are in compliance with all applicable regulatory standards and statutes. Demonstrates effective delegation and supervision of the clinical environment. Applies assessment, planning, implementation/intervention, and evaluation processes in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care and facility needs.
