Job Description
Join MorningStar Senior Living as a Caregiver at our River Oaks community. Provide compassionate care to our residents while building meaningful relationships in a supportive, family-like environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding
- Ensure resident privacy, respect, dignity, and physical comfort throughout daily care
- Detect, correct, and report unsafe conditions that may harm residents
- Respond to resident calls and move residents between areas as needed
- Participate in monthly in-service meetings, training, and departmental meetings
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must read and write English
- Successful completion of state-approved medication administration training and first aid certification
- Previous healthcare experience preferred; knowledge of universal precautions required
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and oral directions

In memory care units, redirection and engagement activities are a big part of the role — keeping residents calm, oriented, and socially active.
