Safely transfer residents between beds, chairs, and vehicles. Take and record vital signs; collect specimens as needed. Monitor residents for changes in condition and report to nursing staff. Maintain clean and organized resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Support new resident welcome and orientation. Participate in group activities and resident care conferences. Complete incident reports and respond to emergencies promptly. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. CNA certification or experience in senior care preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for older adults. Ability to read and follow care plans and safety procedures. Commitment to teamwork and a positive work environment. In memory care units, redirection and engagement activities are a big part of the role — keeping residents calm, oriented, and socially active.
