At Always Best Care Senior Services – Greater West Houston , we provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care for seniors and individuals who need support with daily living activities. We take pride in delivering care that promotes personal dignity, safety, and emotional well-being. As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are currently seeking dedicated caregivers to support an active client case in Houston, TX (77066) . These positions are for an active case and require light-duty care . Location Greater West Houston Current Need: Houston, TX 77066 Shift Schedule Monday & Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Type of Care Light-duty in-home care. Responsibilities • Follow the care plan outlined by a supervisor to assist with daily living activities • Provide companionship and ensure client safety • Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders • Monitor and observe the client’s overall well-being and report any changes • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided • Follow all safety and infection control protocols • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors Requirements • Prior caregiving experience preferred (senior care experience is a plus) • CNA certification is ideal but not required • Ability to pass a background check and reference check • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Compassion, patience, and professionalism • Willingness to travel up to 25 miles when needed Compensation & Benefits • Competitive pay with possible bonus pay up to $16/hour • Short and mid-length shifts – ideal for supplemental income • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities • Supportive and caring work environment • Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a client’s life EEOC Statement Always Best Care Senior Services – Greater West Houston, TX, is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind. For housekeeping roles, the day follows a room-by-room schedule — cleaning resident rooms, sanitizing common areas, managing laundry, and responding to spill or accident cleanups as they happen. Infection control protocols are more rigorous than in hotels or commercial cleaning, especially during flu season or respiratory illness outbreaks.

Maintenance staff handle a daily work order queue — everything from changing light bulbs and fixing call buttons to HVAC maintenance and plumbing repairs. Life-safety equipment checks (fire extinguishers, exit lighting, generator testing) happen on set schedules. Activities professionals plan and lead group programming — exercise classes, crafts, music sessions, outings — and also provide one-on-one engagement for residents who cannot participate in group settings. Social workers manage care conferences, discharge planning, family mediation, and community resource referrals. Across all these roles, the common thread is that you become a familiar, trusted presence in residents' daily lives.
