Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Description
Care for seniors and those with illness, injury, or chronic disease in their homes. As a Home Health CNA for Interim HealthCare, you'll build meaningful patient relationships while providing essential one-on-one care.
What You'll Do
- Help with daily activities: bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and eating
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Check vitals, measure intake/output, and monitor blood glucose levels
- Document changes and notify supervisors of issues requiring care plan adjustments
- Work with home health nurses and aides to follow patient care plans
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and active Texas Nursing Assistant Certification
- Current CPR certification
- Valid Texas driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and compassionate, communicative nature

In memory care units, redirection and engagement activities are a big part of the role — keeping residents calm, oriented, and socially active.
