Thrive Rehabilitation of Pearland - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Day Shift Job Summary: At Thrive Rehabilitation of Pearland, we are committed to providing high-quality care to our patients in the post-acute setting. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on our day shift team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. As a CNA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses and physicians Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Monitor vital signs and report changes to licensed caregivers Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of patient care plans Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Deliver exceptional patient care with compassion, empathy, and respect About the Role: As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Thrive Rehabilitation of Pearland, you will have the opportunity to work in a serene and active environment that fosters healing and rehabilitation. Throughout the shift, you will assist with meals, escort residents to activities, monitor for changes in behavior or health, and document everything in the care log. Vital signs checks happen at regular intervals, and you will be the first person to notice if something seems off with a resident.

The team dynamic is close-knit. You will work alongside other aides, report to the charge nurse, and communicate with families who visit. In memory care units, redirection and engagement activities are a big part of the role — keeping residents calm, oriented, and socially active. The work is physically and emotionally demanding, but many aides describe deep bonds with the residents they care for and a sense of purpose that keeps them in the field long-term.
