Job Description
Interim HealthCare seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for hospice care in Houston. You'll deliver high-quality, personalized end-of-life care to patients in their homes, ensuring comfort and dignity.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs and document changes in patient condition; report concerns to nursing team.
- Assist with medication administration per treatment plans and report adverse reactions.
- Maintain clean, safe, comfortable environment and implement pain management techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers.
Requirements
- Licensed CNA in the State of Texas.
- One year of experience preferred.
- Experience with hospice or home health preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel; clean background check and drug screen required.
