Job Description
HCA Healthcare seeks a Director of Emergency Services to lead clinical excellence and operational oversight. This incentive-eligible executive role offers leadership of a high-performing emergency department team within a 445-bed acute care hospital.
What You'll Do- Oversee emergency department operations, staffing, budgeting, and patient flow coordination
- Implement evidence-based practices to advance patient safety, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and develop nursing standards ensuring patient-centered care
- Lead strategies to elevate patient experience and employee engagement across the department
- Partner with administrative teams and physicians to enhance services and identify growth opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years applicable healthcare leadership experience required
- 5 years applicable experience preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
