Requirements RNs: valid, current Registered Nursing license in the State of Texas in good standing with minimum 1 yr experience working as a nurse CNAs: current, valid, state-tested Texas CNA certification in good standing Caregivers: Two (2) full years of verifiable (facility or agency) experience required High school diploma or GED required for all applicants Current CPR/BLS certification (in-person course only) Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within past year Current valid Texas Driver's License Valid Auto Insurance Reliable transportation Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Life-safety equipment checks (fire extinguishers, exit lighting, generator testing) happen on set schedules. Activities professionals plan and lead group programming โ€” exercise classes, crafts, music sessions, outings โ€” and also provide one-on-one engagement for residents who cannot participate in group settings.
