We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Houston, TX area to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with a physician established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager. Shifts: Multiple shifts available. Weekday and weekends shifts. 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM shifts. Offers are contingent upon passing a background check. IND Responsibilities Executes physician prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record. Administers prescribed treatments, and therapies. Performs patient assessments, coordination of care. Performs various activities associated with daily living, communications, and monitoring of vitals while working at the patient’s home. Will be working with patients in a comfortable environment where the service is one-on-one. Communicates with family members, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of patients. Performs other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs. Requirements Current CPR, First Aid, and 2-Step TB Test Prefer experience in a clinical care setting, home health preferred. Good interpersonal skills. Prolonged standing and walking required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients. Vital signs checks happen at regular intervals, and you will be the first person to notice if something seems off with a resident.

The team dynamic is close-knit. You will work alongside other aides, report to the charge nurse, and communicate with families who visit. In memory care units, redirection and engagement activities are a big part of the role — keeping residents calm, oriented, and socially active. The work is physically and emotionally demanding, but many aides describe deep bonds with the residents they care for and a sense of purpose that keeps them in the field long-term.
