Qualifications Responsibilities: As an LVN/LPN - Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse , you will participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure. Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex’s Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations. EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices. Ensures implementation of care plans as directed and administers medications and treatments as prescribed. Participates in assigning duties and supervises the delivery of appropriate clinical care by the CNA staff to ensure highest practical well-being is maintained by patient. Depending on the facility, you may also handle admissions paperwork, manage wound care, supervise medication techs, and respond to emergencies. The documentation load in senior living is significant — state surveys and compliance requirements mean thorough charting is non-negotiable.
