We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team! Job Summary We are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment in our long-term care, nursing home, and rehabilitation center settings. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for performing routine repairs, maintaining building systems and equipment, and ensuring the facility remains in compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep on facility equipment and systems Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents Maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems in good working order Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address safety hazards Complete forms, reports, logs, and records related to maintenance activities Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in facility maintenance, especially in a healthcare or long-term care setting, is a plus! Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required Completion of orientation required by company policy Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check Become familiar with and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment Benefits We offer a comprehensive, nationwide benefits package designed to support the health and well-being of our employees and their families, including: Major Medical Insurance with three plan options to choose from, all offering access to nationwide provider networks.
