Job Summary We are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment in our long-term care, nursing home, and rehabilitation center settings. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for performing routine repairs, maintaining building systems and equipment, and ensuring the facility remains in compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep on facility equipment and systems Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents Maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems in good working order Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address safety hazards Complete forms, reports, logs, and records related to maintenance activities Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in facility maintenance, especially in a healthcare or long-term care setting, is a plus!
