Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and veterans. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives while working flexible schedules with a supportive team.
What You'll Do- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Help with mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and daily activities
- Offer medication reminders and observe changes in client conditions
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within 20-mile radius
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to caregiving
- Hands-on experience with Hoyer lift and gait belt preferred but not required
- Caregiving or healthcare experience preferred; willing to learn and grow

Vital signs checks happen at regular intervals, and you will be the first person to notice if something seems off with a resident.
The team dynamic is close-knit. You will work alongside other aides, report to the charge nurse, and communicate with families who visit. In memory care units, redirection and engagement activities are a big part of the role — keeping residents calm, oriented, and socially active. The work is physically and emotionally demanding, but many aides describe deep bonds with the residents they care for and a sense of purpose that keeps them in the field long-term.
