Why Our Kennel Technicians Love Memorial Veterinary Pet Care Hospital Work hands-on with dogs and cats every day Be part of a supportive, team-oriented environment Make a meaningful impact on the comfort and well-being of pets Develop valuable animal handling and care skills Enjoy a fast-paced and rewarding work environment What You'll Do Clean and maintain pet kennels, cat condos, boarding areas, and kitchen spaces Feed and provide fresh water to boarding pets Bathe dogs and cats as needed Monitor pets for signs of illness, injury, or behavioral concerns Administer medications as directed Track and monitor pet belongings Perform laundry and sanitation duties Clean, disinfect, and maintain pet enclosures, exercise yards, and common areas Assist teammates with daily operations and special projects Provide professional, courteous service to clients and coworkers Help ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all pets What Our Kennel Technicians Bring A genuine love of animals and a commitment to their well-being Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliability, punctuality, and excellent time-management abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Knowledge of basic animal behavior and health indicators preferred Previous kennel, boarding, daycare, or animal care experience preferred Ability to make sound decisions regarding pet interactions and safety Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to frequently lift up to 45 pounds Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable working around cleaning and sanitation products, pet hair, pet waste, and barking animals The Extras You'll Actually Feel A team that valu
