Outpatient Physical Therapist Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 5x8.0 schedule with shifts starting at 8:00 AM. Job Description The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to patient needs and physician direction. This role involves delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. The therapist ensures the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate an effective return to community activities, while also serving as an educator to patients, families, students, coworkers, and self. Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients. Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans focused on progressing patients towards discharge within an established length of stay. Document medical records clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner in compliance with state, federal, and clinic guidelines. Administer care under signed, valid physician orders. Participate in student programs, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing evaluations. Create an individualized professional development plan with clinical management to enhance skills and competencies. Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing. Understand organizational performance improvement methodologies to enhance the quality of services provided. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. 1 years of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification. For housekeeping roles, the day follows a room-by-room schedule — cleaning resident rooms, sanitizing common areas, managing laundry, and responding to spill or accident cleanups as they happen. Infection control protocols are more rigorous than in hotels or commercial cleaning, especially during flu season or respiratory illness outbreaks.

Maintenance staff handle a daily work order queue — everything from changing light bulbs and fixing call buttons to HVAC maintenance and plumbing repairs. Life-safety equipment checks (fire extinguishers, exit lighting, generator testing) happen on set schedules. Activities professionals plan and lead group programming — exercise classes, crafts, music sessions, outings — and also provide one-on-one engagement for residents who cannot participate in group settings. Social workers manage care conferences, discharge planning, family mediation, and community resource referrals. Across all these roles, the common thread is that you become a familiar, trusted presence in residents' daily lives.
