Role Overview Follow your ambitions and choose the career path you crave Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Registered Dietitian 2 to support YES Prep Public School District in Houston, Texas . This is a great opportunity for a Dietetics Professional who has a passion for working in schools. The ideal candidate will (preferably) have prior exposure to Child Nutrition/K-12 food service operations. The ability to articulate ideas, thoughts, opinions, professionally and clearly within all levels of the organization is critical. This position will work closely with students to provide nutritional guidance and recommendations based on their dietary needs. What You'll Do Work closely with food service employees in a central kitchen and in school cafeterias; Assist in menu development, analysis and management of nutritional information; Provide leadership and supervision for the on-site food service staff in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client; Oversee the PrimeroEdge platform to house recipe and nutritional information and production records; Train food service staff and managers on systems and processes within nutrition services; Source the right portfolio of products and services to create the best value; Collaborate with staff, faculty, parent groups and community leaders to meet wellness goals and implement innovative, hands-on learning programs that incorporate food and nutrition within regular curriculum; Achieve company and client financial targets and goals; Be responsible for all special diets required by the district; and Comply with all local, state and federal regulations as it relates to school nutrition What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
