Monitor and track changes in the client/patient's conditions and needs, and keeps the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed. Proactively updates client/patients' family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns. In addition, IV infusion nurses should have experience with care, maintenance, and infusions via PICC, CVL, ML, peripheral IVs and Port-a-Caths. Strong skills with peripheral IV sticks preferred. Requirements: Current unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license Current CPR/BLS Certification (in-person only) Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within past year Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred. Current and valid Texas Driver's License Current and valid automobile insurance Must pass a Background Check and Drug Screen Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
