As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and seeking dedicated caregivers to join us. We are urgently hiring for a Vietnamese-speaking caregiver to assist a client in Houston, TX (77084) . This position requires experience with dementia care and a reliable commitment to steady shifts. Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Houston , TX 77084 ) Shifts Available: Day Shift – 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Responsibilities: Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance, including but not limited to medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care. Monitor and track client health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor. Provide companionship and emotional support, with a special focus on dementia care needs. Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities. Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care. Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior caregiving experience with dementia patients strongly preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required. Ability to pass a background check and reference check. Must be fluent in Vietnamese to effectively communicate with the client. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients. Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home). Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
