We’re looking for a compassionate and operationally strong Director of Health Services to oversee nursing and wellness services within our Assisted Living community - ensuring residents receive exceptional care while leading and developing a high-performing clinical team. This role is ideal for a hands-on nursing leader who thrives in senior living, values resident relationships, and can balance clinical excellence with team leadership and operational accountability. About the Opportunity As the Director of Health Services, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of the community, including resident assessments, medication management, care planning, staffing, compliance, and team development. You’ll partner closely with community leadership, residents, families, physicians, and outside healthcare providers to ensure residents receive high-quality, dignified care in a safe and supportive environment. This role plays a critical leadership function within the community and directly impacts resident wellness, family satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and overall care quality. What You’ll Own Lead and oversee all nursing and supportive care services within the Assisted Living community Ensure residents receive compassionate, resident-centered care that promotes dignity, safety, and overall wellness Conduct and oversee resident assessments, service plans, and ongoing wellness monitoring Monitor resident condition changes and ensure appropriate interventions, communication, and documentation Oversee medication management processes, physician orders, treatments, and clinical documentation Recruit, train, coach, supervise, and develop nursing and care staff Build staffing schedules and maintain appropriate clinical coverage to meet resident and regulatory needs Coordinate resident care conferences with families, physicians, and healthcare providers Maintain compliance with all state regulations, OSHA standards, company policies, and clinical best practices Develop systems and processes that support quality care, operational efficiency, and positive resident outcomes Manage clinical supplies, healthcare inventory, and departmental purchasing within bu
