About the Role: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides compassionate and skilled nursing care within a long-term skilled nursing facility. You will deliver high-quality patient care to residents with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or recovery needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
What You'll Do- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and facility protocols
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status regularly
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures as required
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing activities and patient responses
- Valid and current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas
- Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program
- Experience working in a long-term skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong understanding of nursing principles, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations
