A hospital in Houston, TX is seeking a mid-level Manager of ED and Observation (OBS) Case Management. This role carries management responsibility for case management and utilization review functions within the Emergency Department and Observation units. The position requires on-site presence at the facility and full relocation assistance is available. The role. The Manager of ED and OBS Case Management oversees day-to-day case management operations, including utilization management, discharge planning, and care coordination across the ED and OBS settings. The manager provides leadership and direction to case management staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and effective patient throughput. This role draws on both clinical and social work expertise to drive outcomes in a fast-paced acute care environment. What we're looking for. Current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas, or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW); LCSW preferred Case Manager Certification required Minimum five (5) years of experience in utilization management, case management, and discharge planning Three (3) years of demonstrated leadership experience Three (3) years of experience in hospital-based nursing or social work No visa sponsorship available Compensation. $108,867 - $130,000 per year
