Job Description
Healix Infusion Therapy is seeking a Nurse Coordinator to coordinate and administer patient care services in our infectious disease facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments delivering infusion therapy using advanced technology.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate new patient admissions with corporate nursing and business office teams
- Access PICC lines and prepare medications for intravenous administration
- Provide patient and caregiver education regarding infusion drug therapy
- Monitor patient treatment, progression, safety, and clinical outcomes
- Manage onsite nursing functions including scheduling, charting, inventory, and physician follow-up coordination
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Active, unencumbered Texas Board of Nursing license and valid BLS certification
- Two years clinical nursing experience preferred; critical care or infusion experience preferred
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently at site location and in partnership with corporate clinical team
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, standard daytime clinic operating hours
