Benefits: 401(k) Competitive salary Health insurance Training & development CURRENTLY ONLY NIGHT SHIFT AVAILIABLE 7:30PM-8AM We are looking for RN's with experience in med-surge and rehab to work in nursing home settings CURRENTLY ONLY NIGHT SHIFT AVAILIABLE 7:30PM-8AM LTAC SNF Hospice Care all care in nursing home setting Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of neurological and spinal cord injury patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on clinical findings. Manage and respond to neuro-related complications such as autonomic dysreflexia and spasticity. Educate Veterans and caregivers on condition management and rehabilitation techniques. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic, Veteran-centered care. Document all nursing care and assessments accurately in VA electronic health records (CPRS). Participate in patient safety initiatives and quality improvement programs within the VA system. Schedule : Unlike ICU where it’s self-scheduling, the CLC will create the schedule for the LTC RNs 30 days in advance 12-hour shifts 3x Days 3x Nights Rotating Weekends and Holidays 36 hours per week Benefits/Perks Flexible Scheduling Competitive Compensation Careers Advancement Job Description : Long-Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurses (RNs) at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) provide compassionate, comprehensive nursing care to veterans with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or those in need of end-of-life care. These RNs typically work in Community Living Centers (CLCs), which function like skilled nursing or nursing home units within the VA system. Key Responsibilities: · Deliver direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs. · Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. · Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance. · Monitor changes in residents’ physical and mental health and promptly report concerns to the medical team. · Provide emotional support to veterans and their families, particularly in palliative and hospice care settings. · Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with VA policies and electronic health record standards. · Participate in quality improvement initiatives, infection control, and safety protocols.
