Job Description

Assistant Executive Director What You Must Have: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and knowledge in hospice or healthcare operations and sales management Two years of management or supervisory experience in a health-related setting, hospice preferred Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct management personnel Understanding of business processes and systems that support the healthcare industry Must have an outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills along with a strong executive presence Possess good organization, people and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task many projects and strategies simultaneously Knowledge of business management and a working knowledge of the Medicare Hospice Benefit preferred Experience with EMR/Customer Relationship software is a plus Full Time Employee Benefits Competitive Pay Medical, Dental & Vision insurance Paid Time Off Paid holidays 401k with up to 4% employer matching Tuition reimbursement Company car for qualifying individuals Mileage reimbursement What You Will Do Organize and direct Agency's ongoing functions, including operational and organizational planning, budgeting and monitoring progress toward operational and strategic goals Ensure interdisciplinary care is provided while ethical business and clinical practice are maintained Direct staff in performance of duties including admission, discharge, transfer, revocation and provision of services to patients Ensure documentation of services provided is accurate and timely Ensure appropriate staff supervision during all service hours and ensure support services are available to staff Takes action on reports from regulatory or inspection agencies Ensure adequate space, equipment and supplies are available Ensure completion, maintenance of required reports to the governing body and maintain an ongoing liaison with the governing body Participate in quality improvement activities including appropriate policies are developed and implemented to accomplish identified outcomes Timely submission of all documentation Performance of other duties as required Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
