Position Overview As a Caregiver at Right at Home South Houston, you will provide compassionate and personalized support to individuals in their homes. Your role will involve assisting with activities of daily living, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and dignified environment for our clients. Location Missouri City, TX, Rosenberg, TX, Richmond, TX, Pearland, TX, and other South Houston communities and surrounding areas. Job Type Full-Time/Part-Time/Per Diem Hours Days/Nights as needed Key Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices. Prepare and serve meals and assist with feeding as needed. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Provide medication reminders as prescribed. Transport and/or accompany clients on errands and/or appointments. Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Document and report any changes in clients’ condition or needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training is strongly preferred. Minimum 1 year experience in a caregiving facility or home care role. Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. English proficiency is required. Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a strong work ethic. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving over 50 pounds without assistance and assisting with mobility. Special skills and previous experience with Hoyer Lifts, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care are strongly encouraged. Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation. Pass a background check and other relevant checks. Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate must be obtained within 14 days of employment start date.
